Winter Skin Care Favorites

Winter was extra brutal this year in New England so we couldn't be more happy that Spring is finally here and the temperatures are rising.  Between the weekly snow storms and the blistery cold days and nights, both of our skins took a beating. Here are some of the items we used to keep our skin hydrated and nourished.

For me, my hands and the winter did not mix.  Two of the items that seemed to help the dry patches on my hands as well as my cuticles were Burt's Bees Hand Salve and the Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.  Both of these items are thicker in texture so I loved putting them on right after the shower and right before bed. Another go to item was my Nivea In Shower Body Lotion.  You use this lotion in the shower and rise it off. It really helped keep my arms and legs nourished most of the Winter.  And of course, my winter skincare wouldn't be complete without my NUXE Reve de Miel lip balm.

For Steph, she was loving items like Josie Maran's Argan Oil and Dior's Creme de Rose.  She used these items for fighting the dry patches on her face and lips. This Creme de Rose is actual her second for the season! Steph also was loving two of The Body Shop items she received in their advent calendar.  Their Almond Hand & Nail Cream was her go to hand cream before bed while their Body Butter was a staple for keeping her skin hydrated from the cold winter air.

What were some of your go to items to keep your skin hydrated and nourished this past winter season?
