Spring Lacquers

Like most Springs here in New England, it has come and gone in the blink of an eye. The days are now hot and the nights are long! But to hold onto Spring alittle longer here are some of our favorite nail polishes for the season!

I have been all about the bright pastels the last couple of months. While I'm usually into the more traditional pastels for Spring, the bright pastels have really been catching my eye.  On one of my earlier trips to Ulta this year, I picked up these four colors all in one shot.  I don't even know if it took me more than ten minutes to pick them all out.  I was instantly drawn to each.  And while I usually don't go for blues or bright blues, I am loving this Orly color called Blue Collar. And I don't think anybody does brights as great as China Glaze. This bright peachy color as been my all time favorite color for the season.

Stephanie's Favorites
(left to right - Essie Topless & Barefoot, Ciaté Loop the Loop, Essie Mint Candy Apple, and Essie Petal Pusher)

Unlike me, Steph has been sticking to the more traditional Spring nail colors.  She has been all about the pastels and a little Essie obsessed. But to give her credit, Essie does make some great pastel colors!  And with that Ciaté Loop the Loop, Steph went out of her comfort zone for colors. She bought this color on our last trip to Sephora.  It's such a great pale yellow color.  But just an FYI, it gives great color, you just may need to do three coats since it is on the lighter side.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope this heat breaks a little for some more Spring weather! I don't know if either of us are ready for summer yet!
